The Public Hearings were organized by the Administration of Krasnogvardeyskiy District in St. Petersburg and were held on September 1, in the Karelia Hotel conference hall. Mr. A.P. Galakhov.

On May 19, 2009 the first 10,500 signatures of Krasnogvardeyskiy District residents collected in support of the Okhta Center Project were handed over to the Governor of St. Petersburg Valentina Matvienko. The signatures were passed to the Governor by the leader of The Pravy Bereg (The Right Bank) public organization Marat Kozlov.

Lately some mass media covered a possible implication of JSC "Social and Business Centre "Okhta" in the development and distribution of "Horosho" show cards.

Land Management and Development Commission of St-Petersburg examined an application of JSC "Social and Business centre "Okhta" concerning the deviation from licensed construction boundary parameters and concluded to direct the materials to the public hearings on the issue relating to the deviation from licensed construction boundary parameters.

Such research findings, gained by the Social information agency (SIA), were revealed by Alexander Smirnov, the SIA Marketing and PR director, at the press conference, held in agency "Interfax Severo-Zapad" on March 12, 2009.
